Axel practises predominantly in criminal, child protection and domestic and family violence litigation.

Prior to his call to the Bar in 2025, Axel worked at Legal Aid Queensland for seven years. During that time, he worked in a variety of teams, including acting as in-house Counsel and in the Appeals Team.
